Lou Groza Award
Banquet Moving to PGA Marriott
The Lou Groza Award Banquet is changing hotel
locations. The Lou Groza Collegiate Place-Kicker Award Banquet
will take place on Tuesday, December 9, 2003, at the PGA
Marriott in Palm Beach Gardens, Fl. The PGA Marriott is
located at 4000 RCA Boulevard.
The banquet will feature the announcement
of the Palm Beach County High School Player of the Year,
Place-Kicker of the Year and Sam Budnyk Coach of the Year.
The evening will culminate with the naming of the winner
of the 12th Annual Lou Groza Collegiate Place-Kicker Award.
Former Miami Dolphin All-Pro and Hall-of-Fame Running Back
Mercury Morris will serve as the Guest Speaker of the event.
A silent auction will be taking place during the event,
featuring sports memorabilia and other items.
Tickets are $65 for Palm Beach County Sports
Commission members, $75 for non-members, and $35 for children
18 and under. Tickets are currently on sale for the Banquet.
The Banquet begins at 7:30 pm and the doors open one hour
