Stars of the Week

He holds the school record with a 55 yard field goal and kicked a 56 yarder in high school.
It was a record setting performance for Temple University sophomore Brandon McManus who connected on his career high fourth field goal of the game, a 43-yarder with three seconds remaining to clinch the Owls 31-24 victory over Villanova in the annual Philadelphia Mayor’s Cup game. The Owls recovered a fumble on the kickoff and ran it in for the icing on the cake. McManus also connected from 53 (career high), 44 and 40 yards for his career best game.

Senior placekicker Collin Wagner had a big day, connecting on field goals of 44, 49 and 48 yards.
